Is Syria Genocide?

I believe what is going on in Syria right now is not genocide because the government is just trying to stay in power. If genocide included political, then it would be considered genocide. I don't think that the US should get involved because the government is just trying to stay in power.

Who's to blame for Rwanda?

I'm blaming the Belgians for favoring the Tutsi's. I am also blaming the Hutu's because they're the ones who were attacking the Tutsi's. The reason the Hutu's attacked the Tutsi's was because the Belgians were the colonial power for Rwanda and was favoring the Tutsi's even though the Hutu's made up 84% of the population.

US Response/Guilty

If anyone was directly the cause of someone being killed, then they get a 4 anyone else gets a 3 because they are still guilty. They are guilty because they could have said something or done something to stop it but they didn't. The US should have been a lot more involved and cared more about what was happening in Germany and with the Nazi's and the Jews. We should have done something to help them. Today, we should do everything in our power to stop genocide and save people.

Defiance Questions #3

If i was the editor, i would have them start beating the scout then Tuvia walks in a stops before he dies. I don't think someone deserves to die even if they are spies. The reasoning for beating the man was unjust because they just wanted revenge and it was horrible. They could have just captured him and kept him tied up but not dead.
